The BC Museum of Mining and the community of Britannia Beach have a ‘can do’ attitude in regards to filming. You will find there is little in the way of red tape (clearances and permits) as Britannia Beach is an unincorporated village.
We have a comprehensive movie package available that showcases our ‘one stop shopping’ services. Even though our site is quite diverse with filming opportunities, our fee schedule has been simplified to fit your specific requirements.

The community’s assets support all genres of filming. Over 50 films and dozens of TV series have utilized the diversity that is Britannia Beach, (see ‘In The Movies’ for some listings). The fantastic Mill Building and underground tunnel are favorites with directors, but equally as popular is our ‘village’ of unoccupied historic buildings, suitable for period dramas and other types of films.
